GE Zhaobao was born in Anqiu, Weifang, Shandong province on January 15, 1992. He began to play on behalf of Shanxi team in the 2011-12 season. In June 2016, GE Zhaobao was invited by NBA Dallas Mavericks to participate in NBA Summer League training camp.
