Speaking of his growth in recent years, Luoni said: “Since I came to the Warriors, I have been committed to playing games of my own style. In my career, I have many excellent veterans and mentors who can let me learn. Early in my career, I was struggling, but all these difficulties helped me prepare for now.”
“When I was on the court, I just tried to provide our team with a kind of leadership and resilience, which we sometimes lacked. I spent some time learning all these things, but now I have gained some experience and confidence. I feel really good. I think I am playing the best basketball (performance) in my career.”
So far this season, Rooney has played 46 games for the Warriors, with an average of 6.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
