O’Neal: The Lakers should make a statue for James. If his park champion is not Duncan’s or Duncan’s

Live broadcast on February 20th News All-Star weekend, the Lakers celebrity O’Neal was interviewed.

Speaking of whether James should have a statue, O’Neal said: “He did win the championship for the Lakers. Many people say that the park champion does not count. But if James doesn’t count, Duncan’s “park” champion shouldn’t count either. Yes, this is what I said.”

“LeBlanc won the championship for the Lakers and broke the historical scoring record as the Lakers. Will I object to his statue? No, I won’t. If they want to give him a statue, I agree.”

In the 1998-99 shrinking season, Duncan won the championship Spurs. In the second round of the playoffs, Spurs 4-0 swept the Lakers.

At present, five people outside the home of the Lakers, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Magic Johnson, Jabbar and O’Neal, have statues.
