Anji: I missed Butler in the 11th draft. I am very angry. The Green Army has too many flanks before choosing Jia Juan-Johnson.

Live broadcast, February 18 -danny Anji, former Celtics general manager and now Utah Jazz CEO, talked about Jimmy Butler in an interview with media man Rob Perez.

Anji said: “Jimmy Butler has always been great. We like him and we want him. I am still very angry that I didn’t choose him at that time. He was probably in the 28th and 30th order. We chose Juan Johnson. Jimmy overlapped with many players we had at that time. We had many flanking players at that time. We needed an inside player, but Juan Johnson did not become a player as good as Jimmy.”

In the 2011 NBA draft, Jia Juan Johnson was selected on the 27th in the first round and Butler was selected on the 30th in the first round. Jia Juan Johnson’s NBA career lasted only one season.
