The Los Angeles Lakers tour belonging to Beverly has been temporarily closed.

After half a season of hard work, Pelinka decided to make some changes as the Lakers and the playoffs were drifting away. The Lakers sent Beverly and a round sign to magic to get the big Bamba, who was recently banned for leaving the bench to fight with little rivers. I have seen many “scuffles” in the stadium for many years, but this is definitely the most interesting one I have seen I am.

Earlier, the Lakers also sent Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets for Davin-Reed. These two deals filled the vacancy of insufficient internal rotation of the team. After completing these two deals, theoretically the Lakers’ lineup diversity has been improved, and Lakers fans can no longer worry about Beverly’s sluggish performance and distraction from the field.

Let’s take out the correction pen and give a rating for the transaction between the two teams.

Lakers get: Bamba

Transaction rating: B +

I really like the deal made by the Lakers, even though deep down I understand that Bamba may not be so outstanding. Banba’s cap data is very good. So far in his career, he can contribute 2.7 cap every 36 minutes. In the past two seasons, Banba’s performance in protecting baskets has declined, however, the number of cap per 36 minutes still exceeds 2 times.

Banba has the ability of three-point projection. So far, he has shot 684 three points in his career, with a hit rate of 36%. In the past season and a half, he has shot 389 times in three points, with a hit rate of 38.9 percent. For a big man with a height of seven feet (2 meters 13), such a three-point data is absolutely brilliant. In addition, Bamba can also protect the basket. Any opponent who wants to challenge him in the restricted area needs to think twice.

Because Bamba’s skill package is so rich, it is a very good deal for the Lakers who lack center. Thomas Bryant is now a member of the Nuggets, and Damian Jones was also sent away in Russell’s deal. Pelinka’s ability to win Bamba before the deadline definitely demonstrated his outstanding ability. Let’s compare the depth of the Lakers’ rotation before and after the deal.

Before the transaction:

Defender: Westbrook, Schroder

Defender/flank: Beverly, little Troy-Brown

Flank: Lonnie Walker, Reeves

Forward: James, eight villages

Insider: Anthony Davis, Thomas Bryant

After the transaction:

Defenders: Russell, Schroeder

Defender/flank: Malik Beasley, Reeves

Flank: Vanderbilt, Lonnie Walker

Forward: James, eight villages

Inside: Anthony Davis, Bamba

Obviously, the main rotation of the Lakers has been upgraded to a considerable extent. I think Bamba will get a stable rotation time when he comes to Los Angeles and help the team immediately. The main reason why I gave the Lakers a good score was that Beverly did not perform well this season, so the Lakers did not lose anything important in this deal.

Magic: Second round sign, Beverly

Transaction rating: D +

Magic has used more front-court combinations of mini truck Special and bankelo this season, so it is not difficult to understand that they are willing to send Banba away.

Compared with last season, Bamba’s role in Magic dropped sharply. Last year, magic often used the double center combination of Bamba and little Carter, and the effect was quite good at some times. With bankero this year, Banba suddenly became a dispensable one in the team. The effect of little Carter’s partner with the top talent show is obviously better than that of Bamba.

Orlando didn’t renew its contract with Bamba in advance last summer. After letting him enter the free agent market, he signed a two-year contract worth 21 million dollars with him. This is very telling. If Magic dares to do so, it means that they clearly realize that there are not many pursuers in Bamba’s alliance. But in today’s era, a center with a height of seven feet and a three-point investment will always have the value of existence.

I understand why magic is willing to let Banba go, but will the reward be too little? I don’t know what quotation magic has received, but they almost didn’t get any valuable returns from the Lakers. To the extreme, even if Magic management calls Bamba home to sleep and waits for him to become an expired contract player next year, he can get more things in the trading market. In the past year or two, every transaction of magic has something to be praised, but this time I really can’t understand it and feel that they have nothing.

Even if Beverly is willing to play for Orlando, his current ability and state cannot bring much help to this team. Moreover, magic is on the way to reconstruction. This year they have no requirements for record. I would rather give the playing time to the potential stars in the team who are eager to feed.
