When talking about why he chose to leave basketable nets, Harden said that he was not a crazy person or running away, but for a reason.
Then he further explained: “I didn’t ask to leave (Brooklyn) for no reason. I had a good time in Houston. Obviously, we didn’t have a chance to win the championship at that time, but I was really comfortable. So for me, what is it for leaving my family and leaving everything created in Houston to come to Brooklyn? Have I been here for a year and a half? Why did you choose to get up and leave like this?”
“The real reason is here (I want to win the championship), but I am happy with the rewards this team has received. They have got some very good players and assets.”
