Liu Xiaoyu was born on March 14, 1989 in Changchun city, Jilin province. He is 188cm tall and weighs 88kg. He is a point guard.
Liu Xiaoyu began to compete in the CBA league since 2006. He played for three teams Guangdong Southern Tigers, Shanghai and Beijing Shougang in his career. He won the CBA championship five times with Guangdong team and was selected into the national team list many times. Last season, Liu Xiaoyu played for 26.9 minutes, getting 8.7 points, 5.2 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals. At the same time, Liu Xiaoyu ranked 11th in the CBA history assists list with 1729 total assists.
