Live Bar News on March 1st according to the Los Angeles Times, the lawsuit which lasted more than two years finally settled, and Los Angeles finally agreed to pay 28.85 million dollars of compensation to Kobe’s widow Wanisha and his daughter.
In September 2020, Wanisha sued local police officers in Los Angeles and their departments. Vanity said that when Kobe’s helicopter crashed, no less than eight policemen took photos of Kobe’s remains privately with their mobile phones.
Wanisha said it made her feel uncomfortable. She was always worried that one day the horrible photos of her husband and children would spread to the Internet, and she didn’t want strangers to see them.
