Live Bar, March 1st news recently, Wood was interviewed by Lone Ranger reporter Grant Afseth, during which he talked about his role positioning in the team.
“My role has been changing in the team, which is obviously frustrating, but in the process, I believe I can be qualified for any role. Fortunately, throughout my career, I have become accustomed to playing substitute games and playing around All-Star players. When I was at the piston, my position was behind Drummond and Griffin. Therefore, this is not new to me. No matter the 15th, 8th, 7th, 6 TH, or starting in I am, I have no problem. I think I have proved this in my playing time this season.” Wood said so.
This season, Wood played 50 games for the Lone Ranger (starting 17 games), with an average of 17.6 points, 8 boards and 1.7 help.
